A video maliciously painting the TSU Lucinda Campus, particularly the TSU Hotel, as a site of a heinous crime has been circulating among members of the TSU community through a messaging application. Such has been raised to the university administration, which has immediately launched investigations and inquiries to ascertain the truthfulness of this accusation thrown at the university.
The TSU Civil Security Unit Head and the CCJE Dean, the Lucinda Campus administrator, verified through the security personnel stationed at the said campus that no such incidents were reported these past few days.
Moreover, the Vice President for Academic Affairs already coordinated with the Tarlac Provincial Police Office to look into this matter. As of this writing, the TPPO verified that no such incident happened or was reported within Tarlac Province.
The safety and security of TSU students, faculty, and staff is of utmost importance to the university. Security personnel are dedicated to their duty of periodically roving around the campuses and checking the buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and offices.
This also serves as a call to action among the members of the TSU community to be wary of misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation and to be mindful about what they post and share.
